Meet Dr. Jackie Beshir

Dr. Jackelyn Tanios Beshir is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Beshir is a Southern California native and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, majoring in both Human Biology and Spanish Literature. She then moved to Chicago and received her medical degree from Rush Medical College and stayed to complete her residency training in dermatology at the extremely busy Cook County Hospital, where she was elected Chief Resident.

Dr. Beshir enjoys practicing all aspects of dermatology and believes in a collaborative approach, taking the time to listen to and educate her patients about their skin conditions and treatment options. Her practice spans complex medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology, and her clinical interests include preventative skin care including skin cancer screenings, ethnic skin conditions and disorders of pigmentation. She performs a variety of cosmetic and medical procedures and has expertise in treating all skin tones. Dr. Beshir enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is committed to providing the highest quality of compassionate care through personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Beshir is honored to be a dermatologist and practice a field she genuinely loves. She is fluent in both Spanish and Arabic. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and exploring new cultures through cuisine.
